My second day at TISKL begin when I first arrived at school at 7.15a.m. Like the usual routine I signed and clocked in my sign-in sheet at the guard-post. After I was done signing the sheet, I proceeded my way to the classroom where I kept my belonging at the back of the classroom and immediately started my duties as a student-teacher. I warmly welcomed parents and students into the classroom with a "Good Morning" and I help assist them in placing their bags and lunchboxes to their respective places. I later than instructed the class to take out their maths homework which was assigned to them by Ms’ Keren yesterday and asked them to try and complete the left-over work. I managed to guide the little ones with the questions that they found was hard to tackle and cleared their doubts with easy and fun way of doing maths. Ms’ Keren resumed and started with the first lesson of the day which was Maths. The entire week, she was introducing the concept of counting, separating and grouping the numbers in tens and hundreds. Ms’ Keren showed the class an appropriate amount of examples before she moved along and assign classwork to them. Later on, the next lesson of the day was IPC, which is known as international primary curriculum. For the entire week the students was introduced to famous people that has contributed to the field of music. The class focus was on Beethoven a world-recognised musician. A short article was provided to the students regarding about the famous musician and a standard of 5 questions was proposed to them to answer regarding the article. Right after that lesson, was art lesson which was conducted by the art teacher Ms’ Banu. She assigned the students to use their watercolour and to paint the demo of a basket filled with mandarin oranges and ang paus in conjunction with Chinese New Year theme for that week placed in front of the class as a prototype model. The students honest enjoyed painting and their work of art was exceedingly beyond imagination because they each individually had a different view of the prototype presented in front of them. The next few lessons before school ended was conducted by Ms’ Keren which was English class and IPC. During these two classes I and Krissie acted as a helping hand to Ms’ Keren, whereby we helped her cut out paper work for the students and distribute them to the entire class. We also worked in pairs and manage the questions asked by the students. Entirely, my day two was filled with plenty of work and supervision of students. Before school ended, since it was a Wednesday, there was a formal assembly held in conjunction of the school's criteria in the weekly process. For the assembly, Ms’ Keren asked me and Krissie to guide the students down to the multi-purpose hall of the school and make sure that the students are well behaved and seated accordingly on the seats provided. The assembly begin with the students singing aloud the national anthem and the school anthem. Once that was done, the students were ask to take their seats and Ms’ Coperhand gave a short and simple reminder about the Monday of the following week is a holiday and as well as coming to school early as per set-time and not later than that. Once all announce was done, the students were asked to distribute themselves according to the clubs and associates that they belong to as the CCA begun right after the assembly has ended.

The after school curriculum, CCA was conducted at 2.00p.m and I and Krissie followed our mentor as she is the head of the Music club alongside another teacher. For music class that day the students were taught how to use the melodica. It's an instrument where the one has to blow into the pipe and play the keys to produce melodious sounds. The students were taught how to play the key notes of the instrument. I and Krissie helped monitor the students and guided them to learn the fingering technique taught by Ms’ Keren and her co-teacher. Soon after the CCA has ended, me and Krissie went back to 3O and completed marking the student’s books. Right after we were done, Ms’ Keren gave us the permission to leave the premise of the school.
